Old Fashioned  Tea Cakes

-butter -sugar -eggs -vanilla extract -almond extract -flour -baking soda -salt -nutmeg -cinnamon

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, vanilla and almond extracts. Set aside. Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.

When ready to bake, preheat oven to 325°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Lightly flour a rolling mat or clean rolling surface, roll out a quarter of the dough to ¼ inch thickness. Cut using a 2 ½ inch round cookie cutter and transfer to baking sheet, placing them 1-2 inches apart.
