Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the brownie mix, flour, vegetable oil, eggs, water, vanilla and coffee. Mix until no dry spots remain.
Fold in chocolate chips by hand.
Using a tablespoon cookie scoop, place in rounded balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the tops look glossy and puffy, they might appear underbaked and that is fine.
Remove the oven and cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool fully.
